In my photography I look for shades of color, patterns and other elements in the landscape during the night that I highlight trough artificial lighting. The proces often exists by exploring the landscape during daytime and then setting a moment at night directing others or myself trough the landscape with torchlights and communicating how long and where exactly they should illuminate. Not only does this often lead to painter like imagery its a very intimate process creating a special bond with an environment. simultaneously it allows me to engage and play with greater themes of environmental impact like climate change, light pollution, monoculture and others without playing judge jury and executioner.
